Golden West Baking is an English muffin and bun products manufacturing located in Anacis Island.

Golden West Baking is part of CH Guenther and Son.

12 hour day shift – 4 days on/3 days off alternating with 3 days on/4 days off.

Shift timings:
Wednesday to Saturday / Thursday to Saturday, 7:00am - 7:00pm.

• Assist Packaging Area Operators in stacking boxes.
• Assist Bagger Operator with bag changeovers.
• Take boxed product off both lines and stack onto proper skids.
• Assist in rebagging product when needed.
• Ensure muffins are cleaned up before another product begins in the packaging area.
• Break down stacks of trays to a manageable height.
• Assist with removal of large waste product bins.
• Assist helper and take off with pulling trays in and out of area and breaking trays down if too high.
• Sweep the floor, clean machines and empty waste buckets.
• Clean UBE packaging machines at the end of production.
• Work as a team and cooperate with fellow team members at all times.
• Assist bagger operator with any tasks required.
• Communicate product loss, time loss, QA issues, or machine problems to the Shift Supervisor.
• Give breaks as required.

Fast paced, high pressure environment. Ability to physically lift 25kg consistently. Work in a warm environment (uniform, safety and work attire provided).

Daily exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise. Regular exposure to physical risks such as mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.

PPE provided.

Constantly:
Hearing, Seeing, Standing, Walking. Frequently:
Pulling/Pushing 50+ lbs, Reaching above/below shoulder, Twisting. Occasionally:
Bending, Carrying, Climbing, Crawling, Kneeling, Ladders, Lifting 0-55 lbs, Stairs.

Salary range: $15.00 - $45.00 (not a guarantee; final offer may vary).
