Anacis Production Technician

Position: Anacis Island Production Technician Role
Become a vital part of Golden West Baking as a Production Technician in Anacis Island. Your responsibilities will span quality control, packaging, and operational support in a fast-paced environment, ensuring product excellence.

In this role, you'll rotate through technician positions, managing the packaging process of English muffins under strict HACCP regulations and WCB safety guidelines. Your duties include handling equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean work environment. Communication and teamwork are essential to succeed in this dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper packaging and labeling of products

• Operate and monitor machinery while reporting issues

• Assist in clearing mechanical jams as needed

• Keep the packaging area organized and sanitary

• Collaborate with team members and communicate issues

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork

• Physical ability to lift 25 kg (55 lbs)

• Ability to work in a warm and high-pressure environment

• Familiarity with GMPs for food safety
