Sanitation Associate nig

Responsibilities

Responsible for sanitation and the cleanliness of the bakery to AIB (American Institute of Baking) standards. Complete daily walk around duties. Perform sanitation duties as outlined by Sanitation’s manager and in accordance with the established Preventative Sanitation program. Participate in monthly self‑inspections and follow up. Participate in monthly safety and health inspections and follow-up. Coordinate sanitation duties with production and maintenance team members.

Assist in scheduling cleaning duties for production team members on down days. Perform in‑house pest control duties and coordinate / communicate with pest control contractor. Prepare bakery for AIB and VIP visits. Perform limited non‑sanitation tasks as assigned (moving trays, shipping product, assisting on production line in emergency situations). Report all equipment problems on Mechanical Defect sheet and to Supervisors.

Keep all tools in proper storage and sanitation department storage room organized. Adhere strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) outlined for working in a food processing plant. Work as a team and cooperate with your fellow team members at all times.

Shift Timings:
Friday to Tuesday – 10:00pm – 6:30am

Pay: $25.34 hourly + $1.50 hourly night shift premium

July‑Sep, Monday – Friday: 6:30am to 3:00pm
