• Shop fabrication
• Various locations
• Sheet metal fabrication shop

• Manufacture and assemble ducts for hot air heating, air conditioning and ventilation.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Measure and mark sheet metal according to templates.
• Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.
• Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces.
• Develop computerized pattern and layout.
• Cut materials using power tools or by hand.
• Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment.
• Fit and join sheet metal parts.
• Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.
• Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces.

• Hand tools

• Physically demanding work.
