Packaging Worker – Chocolate Manufacturing

Mornings and afternoon shift as required

Packaging Supervisor

Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Packaging Worker to join our chocolate manufacturing team. This is a hands‑on role that requires flexibility, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced food production environment. The Packaging Worker will be responsible for packaging products, operating equipment, assisting with chocolate melting and tempering, and ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor chocolate production equipment, including melting and tempering systems.
  • Assist with cleaning, troubleshooting, and minor repairs of production machinery.
  • Follow recipes and production instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adhere to food safety and quality programs (HACCP, GMPs, etc.).
  • Perform some physically demanding tasks as part of daily production.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Take on different roles within the production line as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  • Complete production records and basic reports.
  • Support training of new team members when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or production is an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with equipment maintenance.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Quick learner with eagerness to contribute to team success.
  • Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
  • Comfortable with early morning shifts and occasional afternoon shifts.
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from the facility.
  • Basic computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets).
  • Forklift certification/experience an asset.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
