Production Associate

Position: Production Associate at Weyerhaeuser
Join Weyerhaeuser’s Parallam® Plant as a Production Associate on Annacis Island, British Columbia. Engage in a dynamic manufacturing environment while producing high-quality engineered wood products.

This full-time role at Weyerhaeuser supports operations across a multi-shift, 24-hour production line. Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive on-the-job training, focusing on safety and equipment operation. Your contributions will ensure the production of quality goods and drive continuous process improvements in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manufacturing equipment for engineered wood production

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment regularly

• Adhere to strict safety rules and regulations at all times

• Troubleshoot equipment issues to ensure smooth operations

• Conduct quality checks to maintain product standards

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Commitment to safety policies and procedures

• At least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and bending

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills required
