Lead Sanitation Operations at Village Farms

Join Village Farms International as a Lead Sanitation professional, ensuring cleanliness and safety in our production environment. This full-time on-site role emphasizes leadership and operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for overseeing sanitation processes as a Team Lead - Sanitation, reporting directly to the Sanitation Supervisor. Your leadership will guide sanitation personnel, ensuring that they adhere to the Master Sanitation Schedule and execute proper cleaning protocols. This role significantly impacts overall food safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sanitation activities in line with SSOPs

• Ensure effective cleaning through proper machinery disassembly

• Conduct ATP testing to verify sanitation success

• Manage and maintain sanitation supplies and records

• Communicate effectively with team and supervisors

Requirements:

• 2+ years in a sanitation environment

• At least 1 year in a leadership role preferred

• Knowledge of food safety standards (GMPs, HACCP)

• Experience with sanitation documentation

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
