Job Summary:

We seek a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. As a Sheet Metal Worker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and structures. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
Measure and mark sheet metal according to specifications
Cut, shape, and bend sheet metal using various tools and equipment such as shears, saws, and presses
Weld, solder, and braze sheet metal parts to assemble products
Install and repair sheet metal products and structures, such as roofs, ductwork, and HVAC systems
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Always adhere to safety guidelines and regulations
Collaborate with team members and other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Worker
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Experience with welding, soldering, and brazing
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
Good physical dexterity and stamina
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
