As the Production Manager, you will lead daily operations, optimize production performance, develop high-performing teams, and ensure production targets are met safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Pay Rate: $95,000 - $120,000 / year (depending on experience)
- Location: Delta, BC
- Shift: Morning 5:30 AM - 2:30 PM | Afternoon 1:45 PM - 10:00 PM | Night 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Job type: Permanent | Full-time
- Lead daily production operations and manage production schedules to meet customer and business requirements.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including OEE, productivity, efficiency, downtime, quality, and labour utilization.
- Coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and production teams while supporting employee engagement and accountability.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, and waste reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and workplace safety requirements.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions related to production, quality, and operational issues.
- Partner with Maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and support preventative maintenance activities.
- Support workforce planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and operational cost management.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or operations management.
- Strong experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, and workforce management.
- Proven success leading production teams and improving operational performance.
- Experience driving KPIs, productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management systems.
- Experience in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, or a similar manufacturing environment is considered a strong asset.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field is an asset.
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, WHMIS, or Health & Safety training is considered an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
