Shipper, Forklift Operator, Material Handler

Randstad is hiring a full-time Shipper for a top manufacturing client in Delta, BC.

What You’ll Do:

• Pack, label, and prepare outbound orders for shipping.

• Safely operate power equipment to move materials and load/unload freight.

• Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and maintain a safe, clean workstation.

Responsibilities

• Operate Equipment:
Safely drive a sit-down counterbalance forklift and pallet jacks to move goods.

• Pick & Pack:
Pick, pack, strap, and stage orders, double-checking part numbers and serial codes.

• Ship & Document:
Weigh packages, print labels, and complete waybills and shipping documents.

• Load Freight:
Load outgoing trailers safely, maximizing space and securing crates and skids.

• Manage Stock:
Perform routine inventory checks, cycle counts, and restock warehouse racks.

• Maintain Safety:
Keep the shop clean and organized by clearing debris and tidying skids.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years as a Warehouse Associate, Shipper/Receiver, or Material Handler in manufacturing.

• Proficient in sit-down counterbalance forklifts, manual/electric pallet jacks with valid certification.

• Strong detail orientation for reading work orders, matching serial numbers, and identifying shipping discrepancies.

• Basic math skills for calculating weights, counts, and dimensions.

• Effective written and verbal communication for coordinating with carriers, supervisors, and team members.

• Proven time management skills to consistently meet tight shipping deadlines and pickup windows.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and regularly lift/maneuver up to 50 lbs across an 8-hour shift.

• Must supply CSA-approved steel-toe boots and wear all required PPE (gloves, safety glasses).
