As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will join Good Samaritan Society, dedicated to quality senior care in Alberta.
Your role involves addressing the complex needs of residents and facilitating daily living tasks. Strong communication skills and effective teamwork are essential as you collaborate to enhance resident comfort and care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver safe resident care according to nursing standards
• Assist with daily living activities and report tasks
• Communicate with residents and their families effectively
• Carry out nursing duties as assigned by Care Manager
• Operate efficiently in high-stress environments
Requirements:
• Must be an actively registered Licensed Practical Nurse
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification needed
• Criminal Records Check required prior to hire
• Recent tuberculosis screening less than a year old
• Preferred experience with elderly or disabled populations
