Deliver high-quality patient care in critical care heart cath and electrophysiology labs. Leverage your cardiac experience in a busy environment while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
This role is perfect for an experienced registered nurse with a strong background in cardiac critical care. You will provide comprehensive care during invasive procedures, monitor patients, and ensure efficient communication with the interdisciplinary team. Assessment and patient care will be your primary responsibilities, maintaining a safe environment using established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Render comprehensive patient care in heart cath procedures
• Assist physicians during invasive cardiac procedures
• Monitor patients and administer medications accurately
• Complete required nursing documentation efficiently
• Promote safety through protective devices and practices
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with BC College of Nurses
• Minimum 2 years recent Cardiac Critical Care experience
• Completion of accredited Critical Care Program preferred
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification an asset
• Proven skills in arrhythmia interpretation
