Empower seniors' lives as an LPN with Bria Communities at The Waterford. This role focuses on providing high-quality nursing care and fostering a supportive atmosphere for all residents.
As an LPN at The Waterford, you will be instrumental in ensuring comprehensive care for residents, including medication administration and health evaluations. Lead and mentor care aides while being part of a friendly and dedicated team, ensuring the well-being and dignity of every resident.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care, medication administration, and procedure documentation
• Ensure resident records are maintained accurately
• Safely lift and transfer residents using appropriate techniques
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to the Director of Care
• Facilitate resident admissions and manage caregiver communication
Requirements:
• Registered with BCCNP and graduated from a nursing program
• Preferably two years of long-term care experience
• Must embody respectful care towards residents
• Strong English skills for effective communication
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
