Position: Community-Focused Registered Midwives Needed
Experience community-rooted midwifery with Terra Nova Midwifery as a Registered Midwife, committed to integrity and cultural safety. Positions available for full-scope care and postpartum support teams.

Terra Nova Midwifery seeks Registered Midwives who are passionate about relational care and have a grounding in equity. We value diverse identities and backgrounds, encouraging collaboration and communication in our client relationships. Our practice provides a balanced workload and supportive environment that prioritizes the needs of families and life-givers in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Care for clients from early pregnancy through postpartum

• Deliver hands-on support during labour and delivery

• Perform early postpartum home visits for new families

• Communicate effectively with clients via email and paging

• Advocate for physiologic birth and informed choice

Requirements:

• Must be registered or eligible for registration with BCCNM

• Strong commitment to community and cultural safety

• Collaborative work style and integrity in care practices

• Passionate about continuity of care and fostering relationships

• Open to applicants from all backgrounds and experiences
