Casual Scope Practical Nurse

Deliver full-scope nursing care as a Casual Licensed Practical Nurse with Fraser Health at Delta Hospital in Delta, B.C. Assess patients and coordinate individualized care.

Working with a multidisciplinary team, you will perform assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. The position follows BCCNM competency guidelines, Standards of Practice, Fraser Health policies, and unit protocols. Your practice includes medication administration and patient, resident, and family support.

• Assess physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Provide nursing care and evaluate outcomes
• Complete admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
• Document care information and report changes

• Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program
• Current BCCNM practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Competence working at BCCNM full scope of practice
• Ability to administer medications and operate related equipment
• Physical ability to perform position duties
