Food Safety & Quality Coordinator

Overview

The Food Safety and Quality Coordinator contributes to the success of Pepsi Co by acting as the guardian for all quality processes and execution of these processes to the required standard through document review, coaching, and other methods.

Total Compensation: $49,000 - $79,870

• Responsible for leading and coordinating the quality agenda
• Acts as the guardian for all quality processes and is responsible for the execution of these processes to the required standard i.e. pre-requisite and CCP checks (HACCP), internal audits, GMP enforcement, paperwork review, etc.
• Hold management - including daily counts, rework etc.
• Core governance on general standards
• Audit preparation
• Hold and rework process owner
• Quality document filing
• Continuous Improvement of quality paperwork processes
• Ownership over lab equipment and service, tracking calibration due dates, PMs etc.

• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment an Asset
• Background in Food Quality & Safety Standards an Asset
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree required
• Flexible, ‘can do,’ attitude to role and duties
• Results driven and understands the link between action & results
• SAP experience is preferred
