The Apprentice is responsible for learning about disassembly, assembly, inspection and test stand work on gas turbine engines and aeronautical components/accessories.

• Implement work plans by following instructions from various sources
• Use test and measuring equipment to carry out work
• Recognize and report defects on parts, assemblies, engines, and accessories
• Certify correctness of work and perform preliminary inspections
• Raise and create repair documents and order parts

• Must have completed a recognized AME or GTE course or equivalent entry qualification
• Must have mechanical aptitude
• Must have knowledge of engine components/accessories
• Must possess good interpersonal skills, organizational skills and cooperate well with others
• Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
