As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will oversee raw materials and finished products, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. The role emphasizes meticulous inspection and effective communication with cross-functional teams. Your analytical skills will drive improvement initiatives and uphold compliance with CFIA and HACCP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tests and inspections for compliance with specifications
• Manage QA records, documents, and samples
• Perform lab testing including micro and organoleptic evaluations
• Verify sanitation through routine inspections and swabbing
• Communicate quality control expectations with team members
Requirements:
• Degree/Diploma in Food Science or related field
• Experience in food production or testing environments
• Knowledge of CFIA and HACCP standards
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights
