Position: FT - Switchboard
Summary:
Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, Front End-Receiving, a Switchboard Outfitter provides a legendary customer experience by assisting customers through receiving all incoming phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person and department. This position works closely with customers and provides them with the information to help them with their buying decisions.
Responsibilities:
Provide a legendary customer experience for every customer and promote company programsReceive and direct all incoming calls in a courteous and polite mannerAnswer basic customer questions and make store announcements in a professional mannerRespond to and handle customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scopeSecure and log keys, RF guns, radios and other equipment as assigned and ensure items are returned at store closingMonitor and check items entering and leaving through the employee entrance such as, but not limited to: purchases, handbags, briefcases, coats, and lunch containersAssist in other areas of the store when business needs dictateQualifications:
One or more years’ experience in a service environment is preferredPrevious switchboard and administrative experience are an assetKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP is an assetHigh school diploma or equivalent is preferredAbility to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectationsAbility to use good judgment and logicExperience in a related field or outdoor lifestyleKnowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s specific products is an assetStarting Pay Rate: $ - $
