AFIMAC is seeking Security Guards for current and upcoming projects in British Columbia. This role demands flexibility due to the nature of assignments, resulting in a minimum commitment of four weeks. Potential candidates should possess a valid security license and be ready for extended travel within the province.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage security during organized protests and labour disruptions
• Respond effectively to man-made crises and disasters
• Maintain detailed reports of incidents and activities
• Work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ensure safety and security at designated assignments
Requirements:
• Valid Security Guard license in British Columbia
• Flexibility to travel and work extended hours
• Ability to communicate in English (read, write, speak)
• Canadian residency with legal work authorization
• Previous experience de-escalating confrontational situations
