Position: Security Specialist at Amazon Operations
Protect assets and people as a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist at Amazon Operations. This vital role demands investigative skills and teamwork to safeguard our facilities and ensure compliance.

As an SLP Specialist, you will be integral to Amazon's Worldwide Operations team, focusing on security and loss prevention across different business units. Collaborating closely with site leadership, your expertise will help identify vulnerabilities and implement effective mitigation strategies. You will conduct investigations, interact with stakeholders, and manage crisis situations to uphold our operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations of theft and fraud incidents

• Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation actions

• Act as liaison for security management with leadership

• Develop strategies for alarm reduction and system diagnostics

• Interact with external security service providers regularly

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2+ years of Amazon experience or security background

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis

• Experience with security risk identification

• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand for 12 hours
