Operations Safety Specialist at FedEx

This role requires a minimum of a high school diploma, with a preference for a bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health and Environmental Science. Ideally suited for an experienced safety leader, you will utilize your skills to identify hazards, educate staff, and enhance safety practices throughout the operations. Engaging with various stakeholders and ensuring compliance with safety regulations will be vital to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect work areas to identify and reduce safety hazards

• Coach supervisors on safety procedures and employee engagement

• Lead safety discussions during meetings

• Conduct safety orientation and incident investigations

• Coordinate yard safety improvement efforts with local teams

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required

• Six months of relevant training experience

• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety is an asset

• Bilingual candidates preferred (French and English)

• Valid driver’s license is required
