Punjabi Parent Support Coordinator

In this vital role, you will collaborate with the Positive Behavior Support Program Coordinator while serving as a family navigator. Your focus will be to assist families facing barriers and guide them toward accessing community-based programs and resources. This position requires building rapports and relationship management within the community to tailor support for children, youth, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop rapport with families using trauma-informed approaches

• Assist families in navigating service access barriers

• Build community connections for up-to-date resources

• Liaise with service providers and attend client meetings

• Organize training and information sessions for parents

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• One year of relevant experience in social services

• Proficient in Punjabi and English; other languages are a plus

• Experience in multi-disciplinary team settings

• Strong relationship-building skills with families and children
