SOURCES is hiring a Community Living Worker in Ladner to empower individuals with disabilities and mental health needs. Enjoy a supportive environment while working part-time, Monday to Friday.
As a Community Living Worker, you will join SOURCES in delivering vital support to clients at the Crossroads Program. The role encompasses engaging individuals in social, recreational, and employment activities, fostering independence, well-being, and community participation. Successful candidates will bring empathy and a proactive attitude to promote positive outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trusting relationships with service users
• Guide and coach clients through various tasks
• Monitor safety and implement behavior support strategies
• Document progress and maintain client records
• Collaborate with the team to ensure client well-being
Requirements:
• Empathy and self-awareness in interactions
• Experience in mental health or disability support
• Mandatory valid driver's license
• Physical capacity for hands-on support
• Initiative and integrity in daily tasks
