Part Time Community Living Worker

Make a difference at Sources Community Living Services as a part-time Community Living Worker in Delta, BC. Support adults with developmental disabilities and foster independence across shifts.

This permanent, part-time role offers 16 hours per week, focusing on relationship building, life skills coaching, and implementing personalized support plans. You will be essential in enhancing residents' quality of life at Chestnut House, where compassionate care is prioritized. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in social services or mental health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful relationships with residents

• Assist in designing personalized support plans

• Provide personal care and meal preparation

• Document activities for reporting purposes

• Support residents in crisis management

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in social services or equivalent

• Relevant field experience in social services or mental health

• Class 5 Driver's license required

• Strong emotional intelligence and empathy

• Criminal Record Check clearance
