Job Description
Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks and containersPack and unpack goods for shipping and receivingUse of forklift, pallet trucks and shipping cartsInspect all incoming shipments for condition and verify accuracy against purchase ordersDistribute received shipments to respective departments within the warehouseProcess outgoing shipments to suppliers and other Long & McQuade locationsWork with standard shipping documents and online shipping systemsMaintain shipping logs and properly file all paperworkKeep shipping/receiving area clean and organized and ensure compliance with health and safety standardsProvide assistance to co-workers in stocking and restocking merchandise, and general housekeepingThis is a physical job that requires lifting and moving merchandise for the duration of a shift.Job Requirements
Must be a musician who plays at least one instrumentEnjoy working in a physically demanding and fast-paced environmentAbility to safely lift up to 50 lbsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to excel in a self-directed work environmentAbility to problem solve and troubleshootStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer literacy and arithmetic skills
