The City of Delta is hiring for the Parks, Recreation & Culture Department, seeking detail-oriented candidates for the auxiliary scheduling of the Seniors Bus Program. This role involves processing bookings, liaising with drivers, and answering inquiries. Individuals with a background in customer service and clerical work will find this position rewarding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule rides and manage booking requests
• Register new riders into the program seamlessly
• Communicate effectively with Shuttle Bus Drivers
• Answer questions via phone and maintain communication
• Keep accurate records and statistics for the program
Requirements:
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence, Class 1, 2, or 4 preferred
• Organize multiple trips effectively for seniors
• Analyze passenger data and travel patterns
• Handle emergency situations with professionalism
