Job Overview
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Logistic Lead oversees end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and shipping activities, while leading and developing a small warehouse team to achieve productivity and performance targets. In parallel, the position manages transportation activities, coordinating closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. The role holds accountability for import and export compliance, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory requirements across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Additionally, it drives inventory accuracy through strong controls and continuous monitoring.

Warehouse Operations
Lead and supervise a team of 3 warehouse personnel, ensuring productivity, safety, and performance standards are metOversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shippingEnsure all goods are received accurately and shipments are dispatched on timeMaintain proper handling, storage, and organization of inventoryLogistics & Transportation Management
Coordinate and monitor all shipments between North America and EuropeTrack shipments end-to-end and proactively resolve delays or issuesCollaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operationsMaintain accurate shipment records and documentationImport/Export Compliance
Ensure all import and export documentation complies with regulations in Canada, the United States, and EuropeReview and validate shipping documents including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperworkVerify and maintain accurate Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes for all productsPrepare and complete required trade compliance documentation, including Section 232 declarations and USMCA when applicableStay up to date with international trade regulations and compliance requirementsInventory Management
Own and ensure inventory accuracy within the warehouse at all timesLead and coordinate cycle counts and full physical inventory countsImplement processes and controls to improve inventory accuracy and traceabilityClaims & Issue Resolution
Manage and process shipping and customs claims (damage, loss, delays, or customs-related issues)Coordinate with carriers, brokers, and insurers to resolve claims efficientlyMaintain records of claims and identify root causes to reduce recurrenceCost Optimization & Continuous Improvement
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and reduce transportation and warehousing costsOptimize shipping methods, routes, and carrier selectionAnalyze logistics data and implement cost-saving initiativesTo succeed in this role, you should have:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or warehouse operationsExperience managing or supervising warehouse personnelExperience with international shipping, customs compliance, and trade agreements (North America and Europe preferred)Attributes
Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse managementStrong understanding of import/export regulations and documentationFamiliarity with HTS classification, Section 232 requirements, and USMCA documentationExperience handling freight claims and issue resolutionExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsProficiency in logistics systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, ERP/WMS systems)Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple shipments simultaneouslyBenefits:
