Position: Contract Transportation Coordinator in BC or AB
We are seeking a Transportation Coordinator at our exceptional manufacturing facility located in Delta, BC, or Calgary, AB. This 6-month contract role is focused on optimizing outbound shipment logistics.

As a Transportation Coordinator, you will coordinate schedules for shipments and ensure impactful communication with third parties and drivers. You will work with Supply Planners and Plant Operations, employing your analytical skills using SAP to improve operational performance. This role demands a proactive approach, handling both collaborative tasks and independent responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate outbound shipment schedules and logistics

• Oversee communication with third-party carriers

• Develop daily transportation driver schedules

• Analyze data and report on operational performance

• Track revenue from backhaul activities

Requirements:

• Completion of a Supply Chain degree is advantageous

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong ability to prioritize and solve problems

• Flexibility for early or late shifts

• Capability to work both in teams and independently
