Day Shift Shunter and Forklift Operator

Take on a Shunter and Forklift Operator role at XTL Distribution in Delta. This day shift position is vital for managing trailers and ensuring efficient dock operations.

At XTL, we're looking to expand our team with a skilled operator who will work Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This role involves shunting trailers, loading/unloading operations, and lifting merchandise, all while adhering to safety standards. Your initiative and teamwork will greatly impact our yard operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shunt trailers and manage yard logistics

• Efficiently load and unload trailers

• Handle dock merchandise and equipment

• Operate a forklift with precision

• Comply with safety regulations consistently

Requirements:

• Valid forklift certification is mandatory

• Class 1 license or Class 5 with air brakes

• Minimum 1 year of shunt truck operation experience

• At least 1 year of experience operating a forklift

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
