FedEx Switching and Handling

Position: FedEx Switching and Package Handling Role
Contribute to Fed Ex operations as a Switching and Package Handling professional. Focus on trailer movements and package sorting while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

In this role, you'll be responsible for moving trailers and performing essential loading and unloading duties.

Experience with package handling methods is crucial as you'll utilize scanning devices to sort packages accurately. The role requires effective communication and teamwork to maintain optimal workflow in the yard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform trailer switches and moves throughout yard

• Document movements using switcher cards or systems

• Execute pre- and post-trip equipment checks

• Lift, carry, and sort packages regularly

• Assist with loading onto delivery vehicles

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license necessary

• Ability to understand and execute work duties

• Strong observational skills for sorting packages

• Experience in a role as package handler preferred

• Willingness to work in diverse environmental conditions
