Your role is multifaceted, including vehicle inspections, delivering products on set routes, and managing inventory in the warehouse. You will also assist with loading and unloading trucks and ensure proper handling of all shipments. Your contributions are crucial for seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct vehicle safety checks prior to delivery
• Deliver goods using Long & McQuade trucks
• Unload delivery items as needed by customers
• Pack orders for outgoing shipments correctly
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
Requirements:
• Hold a valid Class 5 license with an excellent driving record
• At least 5 years of experience driving large trucks
• Capacity to lift and move 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to problem-solve and manage time effectively
• Basic technical skills for managing shipping tasks
