Short Haul Truck Driver On-Site

Join our team as a dedicated Short Haul Truck Driver, focusing on operating lighter trucks for safe transportation of goods. This position requires on-site work only.

Candidates for this role will operate special purpose trucks, loading and unloading materials. You will be responsible for vehicle inspection and maintenance, ensuring all systems are working efficiently. Some experience is required, but those new to the field with less than seven months are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate lighter trucks to deliver goods

• Load and unload shipments with diligence

• Inspect tires, lights, and other vehicle components

• Handle emergency repairs on the road when needed

• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary (high) school diploma

• 1 to less than 7 months of truck driving experience

• Ability to work strictly at the designated physical location

• Focus on safety and vehicle upkeep

• Good mechanical aptitude for maintenance tasks
