As a Logistics Planning Specialist, you will manage shipments, ensure compliance with transportation laws, and work closely with our Fleet Manager. This role is full-time with a Monday to Friday schedule, focusing on forecasting needs and optimizing driver assignments. Your organizational skills will play a crucial role in our operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan truck assignments and delivery routes
• Optimize shipment combinations for better efficiency
• Maintain logistics for various business units
• Provide accurate directions for pickups
• Collaborate on repairs to minimize service disruptions
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in logistics planning or scheduling
• Familiarity with transportation regulations
• Strong technological skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent time management and detail orientation
