Take the wheel as a Class 3/1 Driver with GFL, focusing on transporting both hazardous and non-hazardous materials safely. This role integrates professionalism with teamwork in logistics across Canada.
GFL is seeking a Class 3/1 Driver to efficiently collect and transport waste from client sites, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. You'll employ your TDG knowledge while maintaining communication with your team and managing necessary documentation. Demonstrating both a strong work ethic and mechanical skills is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate required vehicles with a commitment to safety
• Represent GFL on client sites effectively
• Maintain precise drivers’ logs for documentation
• Participate in safety assessments and meetings
• Identify types of hazardous waste during transport
Requirements:
• Valid Class 3 Driver’s License;
Class 1 preferred
• Clean Commercial Driving Abstract required
• Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles
• Valid First Aid/CPR and CSTS certifications preferred
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
