Drive local food service deliveries from Delta as a Class 1 Driver with Gordon Food Service, using safe vehicle operation and customer service skills. Cover delivery shifts on a four-day, ten-hour schedule, beginning between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
This Class 1 Local Delivery Driver covers delivery shifts from Gordon Food Service’s Delta division. The position involves offloading products, recording delivery information, accepting payment when required, and maintaining operational vehicle safety. Drivers follow road regulations and company policies while serving local routes.
Key Responsibilities:- Cover local delivery shifts out of Delta
- Offload food service products correctly at delivery locations
- Record delivery information accurately after completed deliveries
- Accept payment for goods when required
- Operate vehicles safely under all road regulations
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 80 pounds
- Eligibility for bonding and Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification
- Excellent customer service skills and strong mechanical aptitude
- Weekend and holiday availability with high school diploma
