The Parts Receiver is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, documenting, and organizing incoming parts shipments. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and proficiency with inventory management systems to support efficient operations and high-quality service. The Parts Receiver also manages parts returns, follow up on pending shipment's and provides regular reporting to supervisors.
As a Parts Receiver, you will have the following responsibilities
Receiving & Inventory Management
Receive incoming shipments and inspect parts for accuracy, completeness, and damage.
Verify received parts against packing slips and invoices.
Accurately record and enter all received inventory into the system.
Label, store, and organize parts in designated locations to maintain an efficient receiving area.
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, audits, and reordering to maintain optimal stock levels.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Process parts returns, including damaged, incorrect, or unrequired parts.
Provide bi-weekly updates and reports to the supervisor regarding returns and inventory status.
Supplier & Inventory Coordination
Communicate with vendors regarding shipment discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
Follow up with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
Arrange couriers for parts deliveries to sites and stores, track shipments as required.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure parts are delivered to the correct locations.
Quality Control & Data Analysis
Inspect received parts to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with order specifications.
Review inventory data and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement in inventory management.
Additional Duties
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Basic computer skills, with proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
Basic math skills for inventory counting and recording.
Ability to work in hot and cold environments within the warehouse.
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50–75 pounds).
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Full time (Monday-Friday) with flexibility to assist on Saturday, if needed
Start time 8:30am
$23.10 - $23.10 an hour
