Job SummaryASRC Federal Cyber is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Manager to oversee facilities operations, maintenance, and support services at Fort Greely, Alaska, under the GFORCE contract. This position provides leadership to a team of maintenance and custodial staff, ensuring that all work orders within their area of responsibility are accurate, properly coordinated with Production Control, and completed in compliance with contract requirements and safety standards.
The Facilities Maintenance Manager ensures facilities remain mission‑ready to support Missile Defense Agency (MDA) operations and provides direct support to government and contractor personnel as required.
- Lead and supervise facilities staff, including general maintenance workers, custodial staff, and trades helpers.
- Ensure all work orders under assigned responsibility are accurately documented, scheduled in coordination with Production Control, executed and completed in compliance with technical and safety standards, and properly closed out with supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with Production Control, MDA representatives, and contractors to ensure facility tasks are planned and executed without mission disruption.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with contract and PWS requirements.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, EPA, Army, and MDA environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Manage custodial services, facility cleanliness, and general support services.
- Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment; initiate corrective actions for deficiencies.
- Support required reporting, including metrics, CDRLs, and customer‑requested updates.
- Assist with space utilization, event setup, and other facility‑related needs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility‑related issues within assigned responsibility, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- 2‑4 years of facilities, operations, or maintenance management experience.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience leading maintenance or facilities teams.
- Knowledge of facility operations, preventive/corrective maintenance, and safety compliance.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), such as AIMS or equivalent.
- Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre‑employment physical and drug screening.
- Prior experience supporting U.S. Army or Missile Defense Agency facilities.
- Working knowledge of corrosion prevention and control practices.
- Familiarity with federal contracting requirements, deliverables (CDRLs), and performance work statements (PWS).
- Strong background in facility inspections, compliance reporting, and audit preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance tracking/reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with government customers, contractors, and cross‑functional teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills in high‑demand environments.
- Experience in remote or austere work locations.
