Service Manager

Delta Powersports is a multi-brand powersports dealer representing Honda, CFMoto, Polaris, Indian Motorcycles, Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Can-Am, and Stihl. The company operates two locations in Alaska, serving customers in Fairbanks and Delta Junction. Delta Powersports offers a wide range of vehicles, equipment, and related services to outdoor and motorsports enthusiasts. Team members work in a fast-paced retail and service environment focused on customer satisfaction, product knowledge, and reliable maintenance and repair services.

The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department at the Delta Junction, AK location. This full-time, on-site role includes managing service staff, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring timely completion of repair and maintenance jobs. The Service Manager monitors workflow, reviews service orders, and communicates with customers about diagnostics, estimates, timelines, and service options. The role involves maintaining high standards of safety and quality, optimizing shop efficiency, and collaborating with parts and sales teams to support overall dealership performance.

The Service Manager also handles basic reporting, assists with budgeting and inventory related to service activities, and supports training and development of service department personnel.

• Experience in service department management or supervisory roles in powersports, automotive, or related industries.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in clear, accessible language.
• Proficiency in organizing schedules, managing workflows, and coordinating with multiple teams to meet service deadlines.
• Basic understanding of powersports vehicles and equipment, or willingness to learn brand-specific products and service procedures.
• Ability to use service management software, create and review work orders, and maintain accurate records.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching team members, resolving conflicts, and supporting a positive workplace culture.
• Commitment to safety standards, quality control, and compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or management training is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Delta Junction, AK, including occasional weekends or extended hours as business needs require.
