Medical Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Medical Assistant to join our caring and collaborative team at our Deltona and Lake Mary locations. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our patient care team—helping to prepare charts and equipment before visits, assisting with exams and procedures, tracking labs and test results, and ensuring patients are kept well-informed throughout their care.

• Prepare for patient visits by organizing charts, reviewing notes, and setting up medical equipment
• Assist nurses and providers with exams, procedures, and patient care needs
• Clean and maintain instruments, rooms, and equipment for a safe, efficient environment
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist patients with questions
• Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and follow up with patients regarding care plans
• Maintain an organized inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering as needed

• BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred
• Prior experience in front and/or back office medical support a plus
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn
