Speech Language Pathologist

Pay Rate: $55–$57 per hour

West Volusia Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. We provide a supportive and collaborative environment where your skills and expertise can thrive while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

• Perform comprehensive speech therapy evaluations based on physician orders.

• Accurately document evaluation findings using standardized evaluation formats.

• Develop individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals, appropriate frequency, and treatment modalities.

• Obtain and maintain all required physician orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.

• Provide effective, patient-centered speech therapy services while utilizing appropriate modalities and modifying treatment plans as needed.

• Follow all applicable safety precautions, regulatory requirements, and facility policies.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Master’s degree (MA or MS) in Communication Disorders from an accredited university recognized by ASHA and the applicable state licensing board.

• Current Speech Language Pathology license in the State of Florida.

• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

• Geriatric or skilled nursing experience preferred.

• Experience with
  Net Health and PCC preferred.
