Position Overview

Our well-established veterinary clinic is seeking a dedicated Full‑time Veterinary Associate to join our energetic and collaborative team. - Employment Type:
Full Time - Schedule:
Four (4) days per week, 10‑hour shifts - No weekend or after‑hours emergency coverage required

Job Requirements- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree:
Must possess a DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school. - DEA Registration:
Must have a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration or be eligible to obtain one. - State Veterinary License:
Must hold a valid veterinary license in good standing in the state of employment. - Surgical
Skills:
Proficient in performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and wound repairs. - Client Communication:
Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding their pets' care, treatment options, and preventive health measures. - Team
Collaboration:
Willingness to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and support staff. - Continuing
Education:
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with veterinary best practices. - Record Keeping:
Accurate and thorough documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
