Position: Full-Time Associate

Position Overview

Our well-established veterinary clinic is seeking a dedicated Full‑time Veterinary Associate to join our energetic and collaborative team. We take pride in providing exceptional care and education to our community, and we’re looking for someone ready to contribute as both a skilled clinician and a team leader.

  • Deliver high‑quality medical care in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
Position Details
  • Employment Type:

    Full Time
  • Schedule:

    Four (4) days per week, 10‑hour shifts
  • No weekend or after‑hours emergency coverage required
  • Immediate start available

Job Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree:
    Must possess a DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • DEA Registration:
    Must have a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration or be eligible to obtain one.
  • State Veterinary License:
    Must hold a valid veterinary license in good standing in the state of employment.
  • Surgical

    Skills:

    Proficient in performing routine and advanced surgical procedures, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and wound repairs.
  • Client Communication:
    Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients regarding their pets' care, treatment options, and preventive health measures.
  • Team

    Collaboration:

    Willingness to work collaboratively with veterinarians, technicians, assistants, and support staff.
  • Continuing

    Education:

    Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with veterinary best practices.
  • Record Keeping:
    Accurate and thorough documentation of patient records and treatment plans.
