This is a permanent, full-time, exempt (salaried) position. Signing Bonus of $3,000 included ($1,500 after successful 90-days probationary period and a subsequent $1,500 bonus after 180-days). There is a payback clause. This position is located in Enterprise, FL. Preference given to candidates who speak:
English, Spanish, and Creole.

- Master’s Degree in Human Services or related field of study and one (1) plus year experience in social work, counseling, or related field preferred; or any combination of training, education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, abilities and skills to successfully perform in this role.
- Active license in LMFT, LMHC or LMSW, or registered intern, required.
- Experience working with children and youth in inpatient, residential, or detention facilities, preferred.
- Experience working in an ethical and culturally diverse environment with undocumented children and/or refugees, preferred.
- Have a workable understanding of appropriate theory and methodology in psychology.
- Ability to utilize evidence-based theory to conceptualize clinical cases to formulate treatment plans and related techniques and interventions.
- Experience working with children, youth, and/or families from high-risk backgrounds.
- Be familiar with DSM5, ICD
10 assessment and diagnosis. - Ability to maintain sensitivity to our target population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
- Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in both English and Spanish, required.
- Ability to provide proof of, obtain, and/or maintain the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) currently required immunizations (which are subject to change per ORR guidance).
- Valid Florida’s Driver's License
- Proof of Immunizations:
- 2 doses
- Varicella - 2 doses- MMR
- 1 dose
- Tdap within the past 10 years - 1 dose
- Influenza during flu season, (August/September through June) - Yearly requirement of Influenza and TB testing
- 2 doses
- Conduct intake, admission, and diagnostic assessments, including crisis assessments when needed, with clients, and document results according to Caminos/Residing Hope programs standards to maintain quality assurance standards. Conducts screenings and assessments to identify special needs, developmental, medical, or mental health concerns as well as criminal history, gang involvement, trauma, risk assessments, and/or trafficking-related concerns in accordance with mandated time frames.
- Responsible for providing youth with individual counseling sessions at least one time weekly, providing additional support as clinically necessary. Provides crisis intervention and supports.
