Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery

Deming, NM | Labor & Delivery

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Provide nursing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care for Labor & Delivery patients
• Utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of patient care
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care

• Active New Mexico Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS Certification
• Current ACLS Certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Labor & Delivery setting
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments and facility protocols
