When you work in the ESH's Science Department, you will be part of a multicultural team of passionate teachers delivering lessons across four language sections. As a Teacher of Integrated Science, you will:- Deliver engaging
Integrated Sciencelessons to students aged 11-14, following the European Baccalaureatecurriculum. - Plan and deliver safe lessons involving lab experiments.
- Encourage creative thinking and skill development through a variety of teaching methods.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment where every student’s talent is nurtured.
- Collaborate with a team of passionate educators, lab assistants and classroom assistants to support a thriving science program.
- ABachelor’s or Master’sdegree ineither
Biology,Chemistryor Physics. Your teaching qualifications must meet the Dutch Education Authorities'?
DUO ?standards. - Proficiency in English at a C2 level (CEFR).
- Experience teaching students aged 11–18,ideally in international or intercultural settings.
- Open and positive attitude to long-term feedback (learning never ends).
- Hands-on, proactive approach and ability to differentiate.
- Team player mentality for collaborating with colleagues, students, and parents.
- A creative, inclusive approach to teaching and a willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities.
- KnowledgeofadditionalEU languages is an advantage.
