Engineering Manager

Location: The Hague

Overview  Head of Benelux Engineering & Projects - G2 NL. Engineering & Projects Manager to join our client on a permanent basis in the Rotterdam region of the Netherlands.
The client is looking for a Project & Engineering Manager (Offshore EPC) to join them working on both offshore and subsea installations, SURF construction, surveys, maintenance, transport & installation packages; for both greenfield and brownfield developments, mainly in the offshore wind sector.
The client is looking for an English speaking offshore projects specialist with a technical engineering background to act as the engineering manager for their engineering team.
START: Q4 2025

LOCATION:

Rotterdam, South of Rotterdam – flexible working
The client is particularly interested in candidates with experience as an Engineering or Projects Management, covering complex projects in an offshore/subsea EPC environment.
Responsibilities   Lead and manage engineering and project teams across offshore EPC projects, including offshore marine, subsea construction, SURF, surveys, maintenance, transport and installation packages.
Oversee both greenfield and brownfield developments, primarily in the offshore wind sector.
Act as the engineering manager for the client’s engineering team, guiding engineering design and delivery across project stage gates.
Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to scope, schedule and budget.
Ensure compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements in an offshore/subsea EPC environment.
Promote collaboration across disciplines and maintain high quality engineering outputs.
Fluent English communication at professional level is required.
Qualifications & Experience   5+ years of relevant work experience managing technical or projects teams.
Technical engineering background – multi-disciplinary considered.
Offshore Marine, Subsea construction, offshore EPIC background.
Experience as a senior or lead engineer.
Management experience in a technical setting, ideally dealing with clients.
Ability to lead an engineering team through project stage gates.
Fluent English speaking – professional level.
Additional Information   The client is working on a broad range of projects internationally and you would be managing their engineering, design and delivery teams from a central hub in the Netherlands.
