Instrumentation Package Engineer

Location: The Hague

In this role, you will support the Lead Instrument Engineer in the engineering and coordination of instrumentation for a large-scale Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) project. You will be involved in instrument selection, technical evaluation of vendor proposals and the integration of field instrumentation within the plant design. The position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams and equipment suppliers to ensure the instrumentation scope meets project requirements and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities   Support the technical evaluation of vendor bids for field instrumentation
Review vendor documentation, datasheets and technical specifications
Assist with instrument selection and requisition handling
Interface with piping, layout and other engineering disciplines to align instrumentation design
Support the integration of instrumentation within vendor package units and the 3D plant model
Requirements   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience with field instrumentation in EPC or industrial projects

Experience with instrument datasheets, requisitions and vendor documentation
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
