Senior Installation Engineer

Location: The Hague

For one of our clients in the offshore transport and installation industry, we are looking for a (Senior) Project Engineer.

Our client is a world‑leading offshore construction company, specializing in transporting, installing, and removing offshore energy infrastructure. With a strong focus on innovation, safety, and sustainability, they complex projects for the offshore energy industry using one their specialized fleet of heavy lift vessels.

As a (Senior) Installation Engineer, you play a critical role in the successful execution of complex offshore installation projects. Your expertise and leadership ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You provide technical work preparation services in product development, study, tender, and commercial projects on products such as removal, heavy lift, subsea, and renewables.

You will be deployed within one of our product lines:
Wind, T&I, and Decommissioning, where you will contribute to innovative and complex offshore operations. Your ability to manage and coordinate these multifaceted tasks places you at the forefront of engineering excellence, driving the success of offshore projects and making a significant impact in the industry.

Responsibilities

Develop offshore execution methods for offshore projects, selection of required equipment, concept and detail design of lifting arrangements etc.;

Perform engineering, technical project preparation and execution support of offshore projects, i.e. heavy lift installation projects;

Review and organize review of internal and external deliverables (drawings, reports and procedures);

Prepare and coordinate subcontractor Scope of Works.

Requirements

A Bachelor and/or Master degree Civil Engineering, Maritime or Mechanical Engineering

A minimum of 3-8 years of experience in engineering, project preparation and execution of offshore projects
