Hardware Engineer​/Project lead

The Role

Lead a small, multidisciplinary team of software and hardware engineers, setting technical direction and supporting professional development.

Act as technical owner for an integrated inspection gate solution, combining cameras, lighting, and embedded systems.

Translate new product ideas into clear technical specifications and high‑level architectures across hardware and software.

Own the product lifecycle from design and build through deployment, continuous improvement, and production support.

Manage external design and manufacturing partners, ensuring quality, delivery, and alignment with technical requirements.

Define and uphold testing, quality assurance, and deployment standards to ensure reliability and scalability.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on the solution.

Your Skills & Experience

Strong experience leading and mentoring small engineering teams across hardware and software domains.

Deep understanding of complex system integration, ideally involving sensors, optics, or computer vision.

Solid backend engineering background with strong capability in Python and production environments.

Experience integrating hardware components with software systems.

Confidence managing external technical vendors and outsourced development or manufacturing.

Good working knowledge of testing practices, CI/CD, and quality standards.

Clear, confident communication skills in English.
